Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge is located deep in the bushveld overlooking a waterhole and an open plain. With a history spanning over 35 years, the lodge has earned a reputation as a “luxury home in the bush” that provides world class service and effortless personal attention.

DAY 2

DAY 3

SABI SANDS

Over the next three nights, settle into safari life with twice-daily game drives. Safaris start in the early morning and late afternoon as this is the best time to spot wildlife when they are most active. The middle of the day focuses on important rest and relaxation as you enjoy the lodge amenities and the beautiful setting deep within the natural world.

The Sabi Sands is particularly well known for its incredible sightings of the Big 5. In particular, the most elusive animal of the Big 5, the leopard, is frequently spotted on game drives and the Sabi Sands is perhaps the best place to find this magnificent cat in the world.

LAKE ELEMENTAITA

Leaving the Masai Mara after breakfast, travel across the ‘breadbasket’ of Kenya, where acres of wheat and barley dominate the landscape. Lunch will be a picnic stop en route to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive at Lake Nakuru in the afternoon and head out on a game drive. Known for its birdlife, the park, with the right climatic conditions, offers the possibility to view thousands of flamingoes feeding in the shallow alkaline lake.

While not a large national park, Lake Nakuru is incredibly scenic and has several unique wildlife sightings that make it a worthwhile visit, including good chances of finding black and white rhinos and the endangered Rothschild Giraffe.

DAY 4

DAY 5

TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, continue south towards the Tanzania border and then on to Arusha for lunch. After lunch, you will depart Arusha and pass through the Maasai Steppe, filled with picturesque African villages and coffee and banana plantations.  Arrive at Tarangire National Park, enter the park, and begin exploring with a game drive as you slowly make your way to the lodge arriving for dinner.

Tarangire is most famous for its giant baobabs, a network of swamps, and large herds of elephants rumoured to be the largest population in Tanzania. It is less known for a yearly secret migration where masses of wildlife are drawn to the Tarangire River during the dry season as it remains the last viable water source for miles.
