DAY 1
JOHANNESBURG
On arrival in Johannesburg, clear customs and immigration and exit into the terminal, where a representative will be waiting to greet you and welcome you to South Africa. Find a quiet place to sit with the representative to go over your itinerary and ask any questions you may have. After your briefing, head outside and continue to the shuttle bus terminal, approximately 500 metres from the arrivals hall (behind the Intercontinental Hotel), the shuttle will take you to your hotel.

KAPAMA GAME RESERVE
This morning head back to O.R. Tambo International Airport for your flight to Hoedspruit Airport, where a guide will be waiting to meet you and drive you to your lodge. For the next three nights, you will call Kapama Buffalo Camp home. Set high in the treetops, accessible only by elevated wooden walkways, the old-world luxury tents of Buffalo Camp provide ultra-luxurious accommodations that delight guests and will stay in your memories long after you have left.
Head out on your first afternoon game drive.

DAY 2
DAY 3
KAPAMA GAME RESERVE
Enjoy twice daily game drives. Your safaris occur in the early morning and late afternoon, as cooler hours prove the best time to spot wildlife.
Your game drives are led by skilled guides and trackers who will work tirelessly to help you encounter and get to know the hundreds of species of animals on the reserve. Spotting the Big 5, while always a challenge, is entirely possible at Kapama and the reserve is particularly known for its strong lion prides.

DAY 7
TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, continue south towards the Tanzania border and then on to Arusha for lunch. After lunch, you will depart Arusha and pass through the Maasai Steppe, filled with picturesque African villages and coffee and banana plantations. Arrive at Tarangire National Park, enter the park, and begin exploring with a game drive as you slowly make your way to the lodge arriving for dinner.
Tarangire is most famous for its giant baobabs, a network of swamps, and large herds of elephants rumoured to be the largest population in Tanzania. It is less known for a yearly secret migration where masses of wildlife are drawn to the Tarangire River during the dry season as it remains the last viable water source for miles.

LAKE ELEMENTAITA
Leaving the Masai Mara after breakfast, travel across the ‘breadbasket’ of Kenya, where acres of wheat and barley dominate the landscape. Lunch will be a picnic stop en route to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive at Lake Nakuru in the afternoon and head out on a game drive. Known for its birdlife, the park, with the right climatic conditions, offers the possibility to view thousands of flamingoes feeding in the shallow alkaline lake.
While not a large national park, Lake Nakuru is incredibly scenic and has several unique wildlife sightings that make it a worthwhile visit, including good chances of finding black and white rhinos and the endangered Rothschild Giraffe.
