For visitors to Hwange, memorable encounters with large herds of elephants are highly likely, including walking safaris where you can encounter these magnificent animals on foot. Tarangire is most famous for its giant baobabs, a network of swamps, and large herds of elephants rumoured to be the largest population in Tanzania.
