Tour Highlights
DAY 1
SAVUTE
This morning take a light aircraft flight from Kasane to the Savute Airstrip. Savute lies in the southwest of Chobe National Park and borders the Moremi Game Reserve. Remote and removed from the busier riverfront area of Chobe, Savute offers some of Botswana's best predator viewing. The lion prides at Savute are well known for their size and strength and for bringing down elephants in the dry season, while leopards seek refuge in the rocky outcrops dotted between the open fields.
Enjoy an afternoon game drive looking for the areas wildlife.

SAVUTE
Today enjoy both morning and afternoon game drives.
Savute's most prominent attraction is the Savute channel, which, when flowing, empties into the Savute Marsh. The channel is sporadic and will often go decades without any water before, without warning, it suddenly starts flowing again. Even when the surrounding areas are flooding, the Savute can remain bone dry. A mystery that has stumped local inhabitants and geologists for many years. The grasses of the Savute Marsh draw in herds of grass eaters, which in turn attract predators making it a dynamic and exciting game-viewing destination.

LAKE ELEMENTAITA
Leaving the Masai Mara after breakfast, travel across the ‘breadbasket’ of Kenya, where acres of wheat and barley dominate the landscape. Lunch will be a picnic stop en route to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive at Lake Nakuru in the afternoon and head out on a game drive. Known for its birdlife, the park, with the right climatic conditions, offers the possibility to view thousands of flamingoes feeding in the shallow alkaline lake.
While not a large national park, Lake Nakuru is incredibly scenic and has several unique wildlife sightings that make it a worthwhile visit, including good chances of finding black and white rhinos and the endangered Rothschild Giraffe.

DAY 5
TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, continue south towards the Tanzania border and then on to Arusha for lunch. After lunch, you will depart Arusha and pass through the Maasai Steppe, filled with picturesque African villages and coffee and banana plantations. Arrive at Tarangire National Park, enter the park, and begin exploring with a game drive as you slowly make your way to the lodge arriving for dinner.
Tarangire is most famous for its giant baobabs, a network of swamps, and large herds of elephants rumoured to be the largest population in Tanzania. It is less known for a yearly secret migration where masses of wildlife are drawn to the Tarangire River during the dry season as it remains the last viable water source for miles.
