DAY 1
JOHANNESBURG
On arrival in Johannesburg, clear customs and immigration and exit into the terminal, where a representative will be waiting to greet you and welcome you to South Africa. Find a quiet place to sit with the representative to go over your itinerary and ask any questions you may have. After your briefing, head outside and continue to the shuttle bus terminal, approximately 100 metres from the arrivals hall (behind the Intercontinental Hotel), the shuttle will take you to your hotel.

KAPAMA GAME RESERVE
This morning head back to O.R. Tambo International Airport for your flight to Hoedspruit Airport, where a guide will be waiting to meet you and drive you to your lodge. For the next three nights, you will call Kapama Buffalo Camp home. Set high in the treetops, accessible only by elevated wooden walkways, the old-world luxury tents of Buffalo Camp provide ultra-luxurious accommodations that delight guests and will stay in your memories long after you have left.
Head out on your first afternoon game drive.

KAPAMA GAME RESERVE
Enjoy twice daily game drives. Your safaris occur in the early morning and late afternoon, as cooler hours prove the best time to spot wildlife.
Your game drives are led by skilled guides and trackers who will work tirelessly to help you encounter and get to know the hundreds of species of animals on the reserve. Spotting the Big 5, while always a challenge, is entirely possible at Kapama and the reserve is particularly known for its strong lion prides.

CAPE TOWN
This morning enjoy your last game drive looking for the reserve's abundant wildlife before returning to the lodge for breakfast. Following breakfast you will be transferred to Hoedspruit Airport for your flight to Cape Town.
On arrival in Cape Town, you will be met and transferred to the heart of the V&A Waterfront for four nights at the centrally located Waterfront Village Apartments. Overlooking Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront Marina, Lawhill offers travellers a taste of luxury living at the ‘hottest address in Cape Town’. It’s the ideal base to explore the Mother City and all it has to offer, with easy access to the Waterfront’s shopping malls, restaurants and the hop on hop off city sightseeing bus.

CAPE TOWN
The next two days are yours at leisure to explore the best of what Cape Town has to offer. Some of our suggested activities are:
Take the cable car up Table Mountain, visit Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, go on a guided walking tour through the city centre, shop and dine at the V&A Waterfront, explore the trendy beachside suburb of Camps Bay, go wine tasting in the Cape Winelands, visit Robben Island, hike up Lions Head, enjoy one of Cape Town's world-class day spas or relax with sundowner drinks on Signal Hill.

MOSSEL BAY
After an early morning departure from Cape Town, we’ll travel along Sir Lowry’s Pass, with its magnificent views of a lush landscape surrounded by majestic mountains. Our journey continues to Cape Agulhas, the southernmost tip of Africa, where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. The area has largely been untouched and unexplored, with its rugged coastline being the graveyard for many a ship. The historic Cape Agulhas Lighthouse is considered the icon that signifies the southern tip of Africa. After this thrilling experience, continue via historic Swellendam, the third oldest town in South Africa, to Mossel Bay where you will overnight.

DAY 9
DAY 10
OUDTSHOORN
After breakfast we continue our journey to Oudtshoorn, the ostrich capital of the world and home to the spectacular limestone caverns of the Cango Caves. Visit an Ostrich Farm for a guided tour. Enjoy a wine tasting at a local wine estate before setting off on a tour of the Cango Caves, one of the world’s great natural wonders, sculpted by nature through the ages.

KNYSNA
After breakfast, travel over the Outeniqua Pass to George, with many historical landmarks like the Slave Tree and King Edward VII Library building. Continue your travels via Wilderness, an attractive holiday resort town, to Knysna, known as the oyster box of South Africa.
Enjoy a lagoon cruise to the Featherbed Nature Reserve, where you can take a trailer ride to the top of the Western Head to enjoy panoramic views of the town and lagoon, returning for lunch. The afternoon is yours at leisure to further explore this charming town set around a natural harbour lagoon.

KNYSNA
Today you’ll have the opportunity to further explore the natural beauty of the Knysna area. Visit the Forest Legends Museum and the Monkeyland Primate Sanctuary, where you will be able to see a variety of primates, roaming free in the forest. This award-winning sanctuary is well known for its efforts to rehabilitate and free previously caged primates.
Continue on to the famous Eastern Head, where you will enjoy spectacular views of the Knysna Heads. Afterwards you’ll travel to Brenton on Sea, a breathtaking holiday location and a nature lover’s paradise with its unspoiled beaches and peaceful surroundings. The remainder of the afternoon will be at leisure.

TSITSIKAMMA
Travel to Plettenberg Bay, the jewel of the Garden Route, before visiting Birds of Eden sanctuary, the biggest single free flight aviary in the world. Our journey continues to Bloukrans Bridge, the highest single-span arch bridge in the world. Visit the Tsitsikamma National Park and Storms River Mouth (weather permitting). The Tsitsikamma National Park incorporates 80 km of rocky coastline with spectacular sea and landscapes, a remote mountainous region with secluded valleys covered in mountain Fynbos and high temperate forests with deep river gorges leading down to the sea.

PORT ELIZABETH (GQEBERHA) - DEPARTURE
Head eastwards along the Tsitsikamma Forest to Port Elizabeth, known as the “friendly city” with a wonderful climate. Enjoy a city orientation tour of Port Elizabeth, where the tour ends on arrival.
