A notable feature of Lemala Kuria Hills are their massive granite boulders and kopjes, and each of the 15 large, glass-fronted tented rooms has been subtly tucked away amid the enormous rocks to offer maximum solitude and breathtaking views from the open decks. Each apartment has an exquisite and sophisticated design with cosy, contemporary decor that are accentuated by genuine African touches. Magnificent kopjes dominate the common areas, and visitors may take in the expansive views of the grasslands from the bar, sitting and dining areas, and swimming pool.

Lemala Ngorongoro
The nine spacious tents at Lemala Ngorongoro Tented Camp are thoughtfully placed to offer solitude and little disturbance to the natural environment. They have two queen-size mattresses, and since it can become chilly at night on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, small comforts like warm duvets, hot water bottles, and gas heaters guarantee a cosy night's sleep. The spacious bathrooms have a dressing space, a flush toilet, and a sizable safari shower. The mess tent is elegantly decorated with plush sofas, lamps, bookcases, and corner cabinets made of antique wood, as well as chests and rugs. After sharing stories of the day's safari around the campfire in the evening, visitors can enjoy a magnificently hearty meal.

The native Maasai bomas that dot the countryside served as inspiration for the eight canvas domed apartments.

An genuine indoor fireplace created to mimic the experience of a campfire in East Africa sits at the centre of the camp. At the conclusion of each successful day, spend some time in the library or sip a drink from our whisky dome.
